As I sit here, pondering what to write,
My thoughs will wander all throughout the night;
And then my heart is filled with delight,
The ink dries, the paper no longer white.
All the words, written for you;
And even though the words are few,
All these words, will always hold true;
Until the day I bid this world 'adieu'.
These five words that I have written,
I've written because I've been smitten,
With a girl that I've once enheartened;
And maybe this truth can never be forgotten.
Those words mean nothing unrecited,
Although you may not even be affected;
And while you may think it untrue,
Just know that "I will always love you."

The Divertimento Covered in Riddles
As my feelings slowly dwindle,
I see the stars above twinkle.
As we hear the cries from the cradle,
This is the divertimento covered in riddles.
My name is of no significant meaning. What you must know is that I enjoy writing poems and the like. This blog was created as an output(?) for my feelings and as a journal for my life experiences. While I may not update frequently, all poems written will be uploaded here as a gallery of my work and so shall I begin with one I wrote yesterday.
The Farewell Nocturne
I wish thee farewell, my love,
So hear my prayer, oh lords above,
Give her happiness that is unheard of,
So that our love would not be a mourning dove.
Let her begin her mornings anew,
Without ever feeling a tad too blue,
And that even though our love is through,
Let her know that our feelings were true.
Let her life pass, devoid of sorrow,
So I would share her joy, from behind this window,
But there's a place in my hear which is hollow,
Even though I knew that this feeling, she'd outgrow.
Perpetually shall my passion burn,
Forevermore will my heart yearn,
Although I know that you will never return,
So here it is, my farewell nocturne.
So here I am, I bid you adieu,
To you, this love has long been overdue,
Though I'm sure that you already knew,
That I will love no one but you.
